We live within walking distance of the Frederick location. I feel lucky to have such a great, established restaurant so close. We've always had a positive experience at Georgia Boys and the food and service has been consistently good over the many years we have been eating there. I can say we go there twice a month on average, if not more. They are a staple in our community for good reason. My favorite is anything with their pulled pork or chicken, but the Carolina style pulled pork sandwich is my go-to, along with the mac and cheese with chicken and broccoli.
Holy smokes! The food here is phenomenal. We got the Half Sampler with pork belly, burnt ends, chicken, and pulled pork. For the sides, sweet potato casserole, tots, mac n cheese, and corn bread. Every bit was cooked to perfection. The sauces were perfect, even the ghost pepper BBQ. All good
Great little spot. Got the pulled pork and links, both were delicious. The real treat was the sides- potato salad was amazing and the baked beans were probably the best I’ve ever had.
Some of the best BBQ I've ever had everything on the menu is amazing! And the sauces they have are delicious! If you can handle the heat try the ghost BBQ sauce it's my favorite!
2023 - back again. Even better this time.. just the aroma of the place is intoxicating. 2018 -Just when you thought BBQ was done, Georgia Boys gives it a pleasant twist with signature sauces and super tender meat. Be sure to get there early for the "Burnt Ends & Bits" as there is some intense flavor there. Portions are huge, beer selection great and prices reasonable. The special Peach Iced Tea was a nice touch. Enjoy.
4/12/2025 1st time at Georgia BBQ tonight! Excellent service from Tia who took great care of us! Candace visited w/ hometown appreciation! We're all from Colorado- a true blessing!! The team was so friendly! From the host to the waiter and manager, they were all great! (Shout out to Jay-bartender and Candace!) The baked potato was so good! I got it with brisket (and didn't really like the big chunks, but that's just me). The peanut butter cheesecake was pretty good. I will definitely be back soon!
This is probably the best barbecue you can get on the north side of town. I highly recommend one of the sampler plates with their sausage and sauces that are on the table are outstanding. This is a quiet laid-back place on rest with good service it's clean and the food is to die for. There is an outside patio with umbrellas if you want to sit outside as well.
